Is this group only for librarians and staff?
Only librarians and staff receive access to the entire Literacy @Your Library Community Space. The reason for this is because we want librarians and staff to have a private space for connecting and learning.
Then what do parents/caregivers have access to?
Parents and caregivers have access to resources and experts in the following spaces: Ask the Parent/Caregiver Community, Early Literacy, Learning to Read, Homeschool Resources, Dyslexia, Developmental Language Disorders (DLD) and Reading Differences, Tutoring and Advocacy. They also have access to Book lists, Decodable Book Publishers, Events and Specific Courses.
Why is this group unique?
This is the first community that brings together librarians and staff committed to literacy solutions based on the science of reading and decodable books. Librarians all over the country can learn from each other and implement best practices to serve families of early and struggling readers.
